Tag Pin wheel Card

I have always liked the look of pin wheel cards but have always thought that they took too much time. Well I was wrong. This card was so simple and fun to make. I punched out seven small tags with my Stampin up tag punch. It is kind of hard to explain how to fold the punch. Start with the bottom left corner of the punch and fold it to the upper right corner. Then you will fold it back over. Hope that makes sense. You can look at the picture and tell what I did. I put ZIP Dry Paper glue by Beacon under the folds to keep them down. I then attached each tag to the cardstock and attached a flat back pearl to the center. Send me a copy of a card you made like this. I would love to see your different designs. It is amazing how every one can make the same card but it will look so different.

Altered Purse

OK, I made this a while ago but I just love it. I used it for quite a while and would always get great compliments on it. When I was using it I would miss a lot of my cell phone calls. I figured out that the tin was causing interference with my cell phone. Have you ever had that problem? I unfortunatly decided to stop using it. I guess I will need to make a cigar box purse! Making altered purses is so much fun!!!

Just one of those days.....

when I wish that there were not debit or credit cards. Looking at my account last night there were charges from another country! Everything is on hold but everything is also OK. Mostly very frusterating. Getting fraud alerts put up on everything. You don't realize how much persoal information that you have out there until you have to sit down and call everyone in the world. Just what I wanted right before my birthday. Hope everyone else has a great day.

I got to go to CHA!

Recently my husband Jason and I have become partners with his sister and brother inlaw in a business called Amate Studios. Amate Studios sells bark paper handmade in Mexico and handmade jewelery blanks also made in Mexico. So with this business they have been to CHA before and this was my first time attending! All I can say is WOW!!!! CHA was in Anaheim, CA and filled up the whole convention center. I would say atleast 1/2 was filled with Scrapbook stuff! I really wish I had a retailers license! I would have spent more money than I had. Attached is a picture of our booth. The floor is lined with Amate Paper and coated withan apoxy. Not real comfortable but it looked awesome!

I did it again!?

OK, I started this about blog over 6 months ago and have never done anything with it since then. Life in general has been really crazy and I don't think that it is going to get any easier. Here's to building my blog!
